My posts will give you the retrospective of the major bands and artists performing at this years legendary festival just in case…for some unknown reason…you may have forgotten how much they rock!

So let’s get this thing started shall we? First up, Third Eye Blind!

3eb originated in San Francisco, California and was formed by frontman/guitarist Stephan Jenkins, and currently consists of drummer Brad Hargreaves, guitarist Kryz Reid, and bassist Abe Millet.

The band was formed by Jenkins after he graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and had gained some notoriety as a solo artist in the Bay area.

[photogallerylink id=1951]3eb has had a number of hit songs that include Semi-Charmed Life, Jumper, and Never Let You Go…just to name a few. They have had numerous studio albums that include their self titled, Third Eye Blind, Blue, Out of the Vein, Ursa Major, and their highly anticipated 5th album Ursa Minor.

During an interview with Marie Claire Magazine’s Annie Reuter, Jenkins said that 2009′s Ursa Major would be a good album for the band because he says, ” We’ve been hibernating and now we’ve awakened and we are hungry…and we want to feed and we want to thrive.”
