Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m., Tim Virgin world premiered the new track by The Black Keys, entitled “Lonely Boy”. It’s a catchy return to their older garage-rock sound, and if you haven’t heard it yet, you can check it out here right now!
That guy’s dancing is pretty awesome (and I definitely want to invite him to dance at every party I ever have), but that’s not the official video for the song…just a YouTube gift from the band for now.
The album, El Camino, isn’t too far behind; it’ll be in stores on December 6th, and it once again features the work of Grammy-winning producer Danger Mouse. Here’s the track listing:
1. Lonely Boy
2. Dead and Gone
3. Gold on the Ceiling
4. Little Black Submarines
5. Money Maker
6. Run Right Back
7. Sister
8. Hell of a Season
9. Stop Stop
10. Nova Baby
11. Mind Eraser

For those of you who didn’t catch it, here’s the spoof video that the band released as a teaser earlier this month, featuring none other than Bob Odenkirk!
In addition, the band put a classified ad in a bunch of papers across the country, advertising a fictional, used 1994 El Camino for sale:

Call that number, and you’ll get a message about the van from Pat Carney of The Black Keys. No kidding.
