Last.fm Trends: The Joy Formidable On The Up And Up

The Joy Formidable have had a pretty good year, ending 2011 on tour with the Foo Fighters and with a track on the Twilight: Breaking Dawn soundtrack.

Today Last.fm Trends looks at the British band’s scrobbles to see how they’re doing.

The graph above (click to enlarge) illustrates the past year for the band, with weekly listeners smashing past milestones over the months to end up at a peak of more than 8,000. Last time we looked at the band in August their total scrobbles tallied at 1,787,189 – that’s now increased to 2,219,188 in just three months.

With next year’s album release, and the exposure that the inclusion of “Endtapes” on Breaking Dawn will bring, we should see those numbers going up for quite some time.
