It was a voting frenzy that came down to the last few days, but [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Company Of Theives [/lastfm]finally landed the title of Last.fm Discover’s best Summer Session of 2011.

The Chicago band released its sophomore album Running From A Gamble back in May, courtesy of Wind-up Entertainment. The bandmembers stopped by the Last.fm Discover studio in New York about a month after the album’s release for an interview and to play four songs live. Thanks to everyone who took the time out to watch and vote.

In addition to Company of Thieves, the Top 5 of the 13 Summer Sessions at Last.fm Discover this year also included MONA, Deluka, Alberta Cross, and a tie at #5 between Matt Nathanson and AWOLNATION.
