Travis Barker, of Blink-182 and the Transplants, is known for being an absolute beast on the drums. His high-energy playing style has been compared to the likes of Keith Moon from The Who.

But last night, Barker got to play with a drummer that could have very well been his very first influence: Animal from the Muppets.

Fuzzy puppet-funk band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, performed their song “Can You Picture That?” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (March 21). In between Dr. Teeth’s gruff vocals, Animal and Barker had an animated “drum-off.”

“We got done pretty good by Blink-182, we were on tour with them for their reunion tour,” said Roth. “They hit us with a big drape up front so they left that up for 8 minutes real time.”

“It was really awkward we didn’t know what to do. And then they dropped the drape and they bring male strippers out on stage during our set. So those guys are good, man, they’re funny.”
