SOUNDGARDEN’S first new song in 15 years will be on the “Avengers” soundtrack, which comes out in May. It’s called “Live to Rise” . . . and a 22-second clip of it has hit the Internet.
And for all you “sticklers” out there: Soundgarden had the “new” song “Black Rain” on their 2010 greatest hits album, “Telephantasm” . . . but it was actually a re-worked version of an old, previously unreleased song. “Live to Rise” is totally new.
