No Doubt Are Truck Drivers? Behind The Scenes Of “Settle Down” Pt 1
No Doubt‘s long-awaiting new single, “Settle Down,” from Push And Shove, will hit the radio airwaves around the world Monday at 12:01AM PT/3:01AM ET while the Sophie Muller-directed video will premiere at 8PM on E! during a half hour special. Immediately following E!’s premiere, the video will be available on VEVO and NoDoubt.com
Today marks the release of Webisode 3, containing behind-the-scenes footage from the band’s recent video shoot featuring Adrian, Gwen, Tom and Tony as well as a first listen to the chorus of “Settle Down.”
In the video, the band finds themselves behind the wheel of several brightly lit Japanese Dekotora-style big rigs headed to a dance party.
Guitarist Tom Dumont weighs in on the exhausting shoot, “We’re filming our band performances, on top of our trucks. Gwen’s just come off the semi, we’ve done Adrian on his truck, which is all lit up, and them I’m gonna go now, I think it’s like 3:30 in the morning…” Upon hearing “It’s a wrap!,” drummer Adrian Young jokes, “They say it looks good. I trust Sophie.”
The band is in full-blown promotion-mode with a newly launched events page boasting their already impressive schedule. With the single and accompanying video dropping Monday, followed by the release of Push And Shove September 25th, the band is already locked in for the Teen Choice Awards, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America.
Looks like there’s going to be very little time for this band to actually “Settle Down.”
