Someone deep inside No Doubt’s camp was busy in the wee hours this morning. Long before the sun came up, No Doubt officially released the first single from their forthcoming coming album Push And Shove. The song features the classic No Doubt feel, upbeat and full of horns.
With the music video for “Settle Down” scheduled for its world premiere tonight at 8PM on YouTube, Vevo and network television on E!, No Doubt won’t take any excuse from fans who say they couldn’t find it.
Fans will also find a newly released episode of Settle Down: behind-the-scenes, where Gwen Stefani and crew dedicate two days of shooting to the debut video. The music video starts with the four band members driving brightly colored big rigs only to meet up and play a gig that breaks into a line dance. Yes, big rigs and line dancing… “I’d always envisioned a line dance because the song has this country twang,” says bass player Tony Kanal.
“Settle Down” is now officially available in the iTunes store while the full album Push and Shove is set for release on September 25th.
