There are a handful relatively high profile Southern California bands that focus their song writing around the green-leafy and sometimes medicinal marijuana. But few smoke the competition like the seven-member Kottonmouth Kings.
It all started seventeen years ago, deep in the suburbs of Orange County, in the aftermath of a punk rock & hip hop revolution. An unlikely group of stoned misfits formed a musical partnership that would ignite an entire generation of weed loving, free thinking, bass bumping, rip hop junkies.
The band would grow from its humble beginnings to being declared the 2006 “Band of the Year” by High Times magazine. Eighteen albums later, the band is still on fire.

To promote Mile High, their new 18-track studio album, the band will embark on a 25 city tour kicking off July 27th in Las Vegas.
“It’s tour is going to be insane touring around such a powerful record as Mile High. I think this tour is going to be bananas,” said The Dirtball. “The tour is smack in the middle of the summer, and the beats will be banging all night for the crowd! We are ready for action!”
