In the same week that emotive electro-rockers Passion Pit‘s anticipated sophomore album, Gossamer, made an impressive debut on the Billboard 200 at No. 4, the band has released  a steamy, cinematic new music video that features actors Peter Bogdanovich (The Sopranos) and Taryn Manning (8 Mile).

The haunting clip, directed by Dori Oskowitz (whose credits include videos for Cee-Lo Green and Ke$ha), portrays a lazy mansion party where well-dressed, beautiful people lounge around, drink and make out. Passion Pit’s lead singer, Michael Angelakos, is among those flitting about the mansion throughout the engaging and moody video. The most NSFW moment is a brief shot of a naked woman taking a shower behind a glass door.

Most recently, Passion Pitt canceled a series of live dates to allow Angelakos “to continue to improve his mental health and complete a procedure that week.” The band is still scheduled to perform at both the upcoming Lollapalooza and Outside Lands music festivals.
