Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Just Misses A Giant Fireball
In the latest episode of Linkin Park‘s behind-the-scenes tour video, the pyro-technician gives the band specific instructions on where and when to be on stage in order to avoid being lit on fire.
The video then follows the band through the course of their dressing room rehearsals while in Bristow, Virginia.
But when the band hits the stage for final rehearsals, everyone is in the right spot except for Mr. Bennington who proceeds to run to the upper platform where he’s just been told to keep away from. Mike Shinoda, in the midst of singing his lines, notices Chester running past him and proceeds to frantically wave him away from the point of incineration.
Bennington is known for hurting himself in ridiculous ways. Bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell laughs, “If anyone’s gonna get lit on fire, it’s gonna be Chester.”
Linkin Park is in the midst of promoting their latest album, Living Things, on the Honda Civic Tour with fellow SoCal rockers Incubus.
