Pennywise Cancels Remaining U.S. Tour Dates Due To Injury
In early July, Pennywise frontman, Zoli Teglas injured his back during a performance in Germany. The pain was severe enough to drop the singer to his knees and send him straight to the hospital for emergency surgery.
Although the band had hoped to return to the road after a few months of recovery, Teglas recently suffered a setback forcing him to stay off the stage for an undetermined period.
The band issued the following statement saying that the treatment Teglas’ needed “has made it necessary for us to cancel all touring activity for October 2012.”
“We must allow more time for Zoli to heal. We will be back out there as soon as possible and thank all of our fans for their support, patience and good wishes to Zoli for a speedy return to full health.”
Cities canceled include Santa Ana, Anaheim, Las Vegas and more.
Pennywise was touring in promotion of their latest release All Or Nothing.
