During a set by The Ataris last night New Jersey, frontman Kris Roe showed his unhappiness with drummer Rob Felicetti by picking up his drums, symbols and just about anything else he could find and hurled them off stage.
Roe then faced the audience, announced he would continue the show solo and opened it up to the fans for requests. Watch the video here.
The Ataris gained notoriety in 2003 after covering Don Henley’s Boys of Summer, included on their album So Long, Astoria. Much to the dismay of the band, the song became their accidental second single after KROQ Los Angeles began playing it in regular rotation, even though the band had already chosen the song “My Reply” as their second single.
