Green Day are indeed troublemakers. No proof is needed. But despite the song title, the band’s newest music video offers little in the way of trouble making.
Taken from their soon-to-be-released ¡Uno! album, the threesome perform the catchy tune while in the recording studio. Jason White, long-time co-lead guitarist, also makes an appearance. The studio performance is interspersed with concert footage shot during a surprise “dress rehearsal” show at the Echoplex, an intimate venue, just a few weeks ago in Echo Park, CA.
“Troublemaker” is one of 12 tracks from ¡Uno!, the first album in the trilogy, ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tre!.
Following a “meltdown” during a concert performance in Las Vegas, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong checked himself into rehab. The band’s promotional tour was postponed until further notice.
Just yesterday, the band announced the track “The Forgotten” will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
¡Uno! is now available while ¡Dos! hits stores November 13th followed by ¡Tre!, on January 15th.
