Kid Rock, take notice. Five Finger Death Punch is taking American pride to the next level.
The Los Angeles-based metal band wants the world to know specifically what they love about the good ‘ol US of A. In the band’s latest video offering for “The Pride,” frontman Ivan Moody verbally unfurls his laundry list of all the things he’s proud of. From Johnny Cash to Disneyland to Brett Favre, he covers the gamut.
Included in Moody’s list of American achievements are Johnny Cash, PBR, Jack Daniels, Nascar, Facebook, Myspace, iPod, Bill Gates, Smith and Wesson, NRA, Firewater, Pale Face, Dimebag, Tupac, Heavy Metal, Hip-Hop, Disneyland, White House, JFK, Mickey Mouse, John Wayne, Springsteen, Eastwood, James Dean, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Playboy, the NFL, NBA and Brett Favre.
FFDP’s 3rd album American Capitalist, which contains The Pride, hit gold record status in September. The band has been touring extensively, promoting the record since its release last October.
