The band known for drunken debauchery has just released a soon-to-be classic Christmas music video for “The Season’s Upon Us,” offering up all the ingredients needed to become a holiday anthem in punk rock households everywhere.

Dropkick Murphys frontman Al Barr takes us on a tour of his house during a typical Christmas Day celebration. Barr’s introductory lyrics say it all. “Some families are messed up while others are fine. If you think yours is crazy, well you should see mine.”

Known for their rowdy St. Patrick’s day concerts, the Massachusetts 7-piece is set to release for their eighth studio release on January 8th, titled Signed and Sealed in Blood. The band is offering their new Christmas jam as an immediate download with the pre-order of their new album via their website.

Upon posting to YouTube, fans’ shared similar stories of holiday horror.

“reminds me of xmas 93, i was 13 and me and cousin got into the Goldschlager, and one of my uncles kept giving us the drinks he screwed up, another uncle was so drunk asked me and my cousin to drive him to the liquer store, we were so drunk we did it! Ah the good old days.” – boxerguy8888

“my house with the hookers and the drunken Indians (really) my Dad is an interesting character! Mom would just roll her eyes and set another plate!” – crazytrain7114
