HFS Locals Only Spotlight: Pretty Little Kennedy Curse
Tonight’s HFS Locals Only Spotlight features Baltimore pop punk from Pretty Little Kennedy Curse, also known to their fans as PLKC.
The band claims they originally got together last year to record a pop punk version of The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds album. That project never materialized, but it did unite five guys who are ready to bring, as they put it, “a combination of old school DIY punk ethics and caffeine-fueled energy” to Baltimoreans who rock out to the likes of Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, and local-boys-gone-huge All Time Low.
If you find that their angsty and energetic songs get you going, check out their website and get to know ’em better…and if you’ve got a local band you’d like us to feature on the HFS Locals Only Spotlight weeknights at 9 PM, here’s how to get your stuff to us.
Didn’t catch their song “DKODA (Different Kind Of Drug Addict)” on HFS? Stream it below…and if you want more, check out their full album, The Sound Of Time Running Out, available now on iTunes.
