Shiny Toy Guns: Their New Album “III”, Their Weird Hard Rock Days, Their Cover Songs, And More

This coming February, HFS welcomes electro-synth-pop-dance-rock favorites Shiny Toy Guns, co-headlining the Tour Odyssey Powered By PureVolume with The Dirty Heads, which makes a stop at Rams Head Live in Baltimore on February 20th. Their new album, III, features the band’s reunion with their original vocalist Carah Faye Charnow, and a return to their roots as a band that embraces electronics over grinding guitars.

Shiny Toy Guns co-founder Jeremy Dawson took a few minutes to chat with Spam to discuss the band’s new album, their weird days doing harder rock, the cover songs their fans (and even Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore) have grown to love so much, and more.
