Tonight’s HFS Locals Only Spotlight features a dose of heavy but melodic rock from Baltimore’s Ashes To Embers.
These five guys have been riding the local success of their most recent album Ignite for some time now, and as they put it, they’re “a band that rocks hard enough to rev the engine in high gear while maintaining complete control of the vehicle.”
If you didn’t get a chance to catch Ashes To Embers a couple of weeks ago at 10Blade‘s CD release show at Rams Head Live, you can still catch ‘em tonight during the December 2012 edition of HFS Locals Only Live at Angels Rock Bar in Power Plant Live. They’ll be closing out the show at 1:00, sharing the stage with Roll It Over, A Crimson Atlantic, Drop The Bad Idea, and The Evokatones. Doors open at 8, the bands start at 9, and admission is free (but you have to be at least 21 to get in).
Find out more about Ashes To Embers on their website, then join us for the show tonight at Angels Rock Bar. If you’ve got a local band you’d like us to feature on the HFS Locals Only Spotlight weeknights at 9 PM, here’s how to get your stuff to us.
