Tonight’s HFS Locals Only Spotlight features Baltimore post-hardcore rock band When Embers Ignite.

The founding core of the band–bassist Bobby DeRosa, drummer Mike Nager, and lead guitarist Mike DeProspo–first got together, they set out to follow in the footsteps of bands like Saosin, Story Of The Year, and Anberlin. After honing their sound and recruiting vocalist Tawni Lee and guitarist Josh Kennon, everything started rolling for them: new songs were written one after the other, the band played show after show, and the fanbase started to grow.
