As the 2013 festival revs up with line-up announcements from such marquee events as Coachella and Bonnaroo, the long-running Rock Fest in the tiny rural town of Cadott, Wisconsin has rolled out a line-up that aims squarely at old-school rockers still nostalgic for the days when bands like KISS, Motley Crue and Korn (all 2013 Rock Fest headliners) ruled the airwaves.

The annual four-day Wisconsin fest that features onsite camping has been running strong since 1994, when the inaugural event featured such classic rock acts as Cheap Trick, Mitch Ryder, Foghat and John Kay with Steppenwolf.

Rock Fest has rounded up such acts as Megadeth, Stone Sour, Whitesnake, the Offspring, Warrant and Seether for this year’s line-up, which is scheduled over the weekend of July 18-21. There is a mystery fourth headliner for the first night of the event that has yet to be revealed. Could it be Stryper?

Tickets for Rock Fest 2013 range from single-day ducats at $77.50 to four-day passes priced at a reasonable $155. Reserved lawn chair passes are listed at $250, and VIP tickets going for $450. One can only hope VIP tickets include free Pabst tall boys and a leopard print commemorative tee hand-delivered by Pamela Anderson.
