Las Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful Festival announced today (September 24) its single-day line-ups, ticket on-sale date and prices.
Featuring A-level musical acts, chefs and artists, the new two-day show will plant itself in Las Vegas’ soon-to-be-revitalized Downtown District.
Priced at $95 and $209.50 (plus taxes and fees) for general admission and VIP respectively, single day tickets are now available for both Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27, 2013. A limited number of VIP tables and cabanas will also go on sale this Friday (September 27) at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.
For a first-time event, the festival’s promoters are going for broke, having booked more than 65 bands and DJs. Among Saturday’s line-up are Kings of Leon, Beck, Imagine Dragons, Pretty Lights and Alabama Shakes. Sunday’s schedule includes The Killers, Vampire Weekend, Empire of the Sun, Passion Pit and Charli XCX. The festival also includes dozens of art exhibits and expert speakers and more culinary demonstrations from high profile chefs than you can shake a wooden spoon at.
“What we really wanted to do is combine multiple festival experiences under one ticket price,” explained Rehan Chourdrhy, Founder of L.I.B. Festival to Mix 941’s Mark And Mercedes in June. “We were very lucky, the bands that we booked and the chefs that we booked, there’s no real reason that they needed to get involved other than they believe in the idea, they believe in Vegas and they wanted to take a risk with us.”
