Earlier this year, Disney purchased the Star Wars franchise, leaving the casting for the upcoming episodes up in the air.
Stinky Mike, the British sketch comedy duo made up of Jamie Stangroom and Scott Denyer, suggest One Direction‘s Harry Styles might make a compelling Han Solo, or Myley Cyrus may win over hearts as Princess Leah. What about talk show host Graham Norton as C-3PO?
When the duo finds out Queens of the Stone Age “ginger-brown” frontman Josh Homme is a huge Star Wars fan, they decide to help out by putting him through a rigorous casting process only to end up arguing that he can’t play R2-D2; after all, he’s 6’4″.
“I’m like an articulate, multilingual doer,” states Homme as the attempts to convince the “casting director.”
