Baltimore rock band J. Roddy Walston And The Business are steadily garnering  nationwide attention and critical praise for their new song “Heavy Bells”, drawing comparisons to Southern rock heavyweights like Kings Of Leon. Now the band has released a video for the song that demonstrates a possible ulterior motive behind their riffs.

Directed, shot and edited by Matt Wignall, with special effects by Mike Aho, it’s a trippy four-minute visit to “Essential Tremors Inner Peace And Community” where J. Roddy Walston appears to be equal parts rock musician and mad scientist, as uses his “social deprogramming music therapy” to transform a group of ordinary people into involuntarily-dancing Roddy fans.

The new album by J. Roddy Walston And The Business, Essential Tremors, is on sale now. Catch them live at the 9:30 Club on Thursday, November 7th.
