Throughout this last week of the Sochi Olympics, the women of Pussy Riot have made several attempts to perform in support of political prisoners, but have been stopped, sometimes violently, by local law enforcement. But today the women were finally able to hold a press conference where they debuted a new song, “Putin Will Teach You to Love the Motherland.”

In the clip, Pussy Riot sing about the authoritarian rule of Putin, and the ironies of his regime. They even seem to reference the whole circus of the high-profile trial in 2012: “The prosecutor will put you down/ Give him some reaction and not those pretty eyes”

In the video, you can also see clear images of the band being whipped by the Cossacks just yesterday.
