Tame Impala, the Aussie psych rockers who blew up the scene with their marvelous 2012 album Lonerism, are still in hibernation  working on what’s next.

Whetting the appetite, however, is this wonderful cover of the Michael Jackson latter-day cut ‘Stranger in Moscow’ off the 1995 HIStory album.

The band posted the track on their SoundCloud page, saying, “free michael jackson cover yaaalll, fresh out of the the oven. MJ 4 eva.”

Listen to the cover spiral out below, and compare and contrast with MJ’s original. Not bad at all.
