Tomorrow is Record Store Day!
Plenty of shops and stores have released their stock and inventory of the incoming vinyls they will be dishing out, but here are a few other events around Baltimore to make your record-hauling and deal-finding day a little cooler.
The Sound Garden in Fells Point (1616 Thames Street, Baltimore MD):
The Revivalists are playing a live in-store performance at 11 am. Then, Robert Trujillo of Metallica (an unofficial ambassador of Record Store Day) stops by the store to meet his fans at 4 pm. More info here.
Normal’s Book & Records (425 E 31st St Baltimore, MD):
‘For the 7th Annual Record Store Day, a day long known for slavering devotion to the slabs of sweet vinyl, Normal’s Book & Records is having a 20% off all used records sale plus holding an all day concert in The Red Room.’ Free live music starting at 2 pm.
Joe’s Record Paradise (8216 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, MD):
The Blackbyrds will be in store at Joe’s Record Paradise from 1-2pm. Original members Keith Killgo, Joe Hall, Allan Barnes and Orville Saunders will take photos and sign autographs. They’ll have their latest CD “Gotta Fly” for sale as well.
