This, their eighth album, features co-production once again by Danger Mouse, and a couple of songs you’ve heard before on these here parts, including “Fever,” “Bullet in the Brain” and its title track.
It also opens with the band’s longest song they’ve ever put to tape, the seven-minute “Weight of Love” which features Dan Auerbach playing in such a way that made him say he’s “never done a guitar solo like that.”
Turn Blue is officially out May 13 on Nonesuch. The band will head to New York to play SNL on May 10.
