Rise Against have released “I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore,” the first single from their album The Black Market due in stores July 15. The single is available for download today on Amazon and iTunes.
As is customary with many of today’s premieres, the band debuted the song with an accompanying lyric video with scenes from their latest photo shoot.
“I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore” is a track fairly in line with many of the rockers’ more recent affairs, with punk-esque drumming, rapid-fire riffs and a fist-pumping chorus from vocalist Tim McIlrath, plus refrains of “Where do we go?”
Last week, the band shot scenes for the official music video, which is said to be coming soon.
