Watch: Porter Robinson, Harajuku Girl Gang Go on Digital Crime Spree in ‘Lionhearted’ Music Video

Upon the release of “Lionhearted,” the third single from Porter Robinson‘s upcoming album, Worlds, influential UK DJ Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1 proclaimed it “The Hottest Record in the World Right Now.”

Today (June 17), Robinson has released a music video for the song, featuring the North Carolina producer leading a band of shotgun-toting Harajuku girls on a crime spree through downtown Los Angeles, wreaking digital havoc on the city.

The clip ends with an especially violent twist.

“Lionhearted” follows previously released singles “Sad Machine” and “Sea of Voices.”  

Worlds is set for release on Aug. 12, followed by North American tour that kicks off on Aug. 28 in Vancouver. Giraffage and Lemaitre will open the shows. The tour will feature Robinson performing live for the first time.
