Slash Teams with Universal’s ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ to Score 3D Clown Maze

Slash has found a new way to make fans scream: by teaming up with Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights.

The guitarist has come on board to write a score for their new maze, called Clowns 3D Music by Slash.

In a press release, Universal Studios Hollywood describes the maze, saying, “[t]he psychedelic 3D maze will horrify guests, taunting and tempting them with terror and treats as they parade through ‘Sweet Licks Frozen Clown Pops Family Amusement Center,’ a dilapidated roadside attraction and one-time thriving ice cream factory run by deranged siblings and their mad clown father, Sweet Licks.”

Halloween Horror Nights often teams with musicians to license its already-created material as a sonic accompaniment to their park, but this marks the first time they have worked with one to create an entirely original score.
