Jack White Went to a Baseball Game and Smiled This Time
Consequence of Sound points out that the rocker attended batting practice at Coors Field for the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday (Aug. 19) and was far more genial than what he appeared to be at a Chicago Cubs game last month that saw him seemingly loathing the fact that he was there.
The Denver Post’s Nick Groke reports that a fan asked White if he’d be willing to recreate the viral photo, but White declined.
“I can’t make that face again,” he reportedly said. “But I’ll smile for you.”
Other pictures that surfaced from the batting practice found White, glove in hand. Reverb notes that he even took batting practice and snagged some fly balls.
