It’s an unfortunate trend that music and art festival have been plagued with reports of deaths coming from their grounds regularly, and it is tough to say if anything has changed, or if the sheer amount of fests has made it seem like more lives are being lost at them.
Burning Man is the latest to announce a tragedy during their event, as a woman was reportedly killed after being run over by a bus carrying festival goers. Alicia Louise Cipicchio, 29, died when the accident occurred near Center Camp in Black Rock City just after midnight this morning (August 28).
Cipicchio “studied art, loved the outdoors and worked as a manager of an art gallery in Jackson, Wyo., a co-worker said to the Reno Gazette-Journal.
