A Day To Remember Announce ‘Bad Vibrations’ Album Details, Release Title Track

By Radio.com Staff

A Day To Remember will release their new album, Bad Vibrations, on August 19. To accompany the announcement, the Ocala, FL band has released a video for the title track, a blisteringly hard rock song sure to delight long-time fans.

The video carries a warning to those people with photosensitive epilepsy: Look away or don’t watch.

Bad Vibrations was kept under wraps with the band denying the album’s existence when Radio.com caught up with frontman Jeremy McKinnon in March. “We have no plans on releasing an album any time soon,” he said, explaining that their song “Paranoia” was merely a one-off.

To record the new album, ADTR teamed with producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore. The punk rock legends are known for their work with Descendents and Rise Against respectively.

“We completely changed the way we wrote, recorded and mixed this album,” says McKinnon in a release. “It was one of the most unique recording experiences we’ve ever had. We rented a cabin in the mountains 30 minutes outside of town and just wrote together in a room, which was the polar opposite of the last three albums we’ve made. And working with Bill was an awesome experience. He was a bit hard to read at first, so I think we subconsciously pushed ourselves harder to try to impress him. As a result, we gave this album everything we had.”

Fans who pre-order Bad Vibrations will receive instant download of the title track and “Paranoia,” the album’s first single.

This marks the band’s first album on Epitaph Records, one of the most storied labels in punk rock.
