The only thing crazier than mashing up Linkin Park with Psy is how cohesive it actually sounds. No, we haven’t been drinking.
The group announced this week that they’re again putting Music for Relief into action by hosting a benefit show in L.A. with The Offspring to raise money for those affected by the catastrophic Typhoon Haiyan.
“It was about building this bridge between our two worlds and doing it in an organic way,” explained Aoki of the melding of rock and EDM in the new collaboration.
The track comes from upcoming remix album, ‘Recharged,’ which is culled from the band’s last studio full-length, 2012 release ‘Living Things.’
The group will now officially be called Stone Temple Pilots With Chester Bennington. Their debut EP, High Rise, also now has a release date: October 5.
