Chris Martin revealed that he once wrote a song with the intention of having the iconic singer record vocals for it. He was denied.
What do Harry Potter and Coldplay have in common? According to frontman Chris Martin, they both end their journey at seven releases.
Kanye West and Carrie Underwood also performed—though not with U2.
“She has so many amazing people writing for her. It’s like trying to win American Idol, getting a song on Rihanna’s album,” Martin said.
“It’s going to be a lot more song-oriented,” the DJ and producer explained. “True was an attempt at that, getting electronic music in a song format.”
Chris Martin doesn’t think his band’s new album is for everyone, but he’s proud of it anyway.
In front of dangling paper stars, Martin sang the rather somber song, which samples his daughter Apple’s voice.
