Jessica Lucas plays an aspiring ballet dancer whose huge balloon body exclude her from realizing her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Chris Martin is a janitor, sweeping up a theater housing the ballet.
The band also offered to ante up even more money if they can play in the actual game and covert the whole thing into a soccer match.
While all three acts have the stage presence and worldwide hits necessary for the big show, are they willing to pay for the privilege?
A special evening with Coldplay will take place at The Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 8:30 p.m., PT.
“She has so many amazing people writing for her. It’s like trying to win American Idol, getting a song on Rihanna’s album,” Martin said.
Coldplay have never been shy about their intentions of fixing those who need a little help, but now the band is putting their money where their mouth is.
