Two died and more than a dozen were hospitalized after taking a mystery drug at this past weekend’s Veld Music Festival in Toronto. Now police have launched a homicide investigation to find those who sold the drug to festival-goers.
Just weeks before Electric Zoo 2014 kicks off at New York’s Randall’s Island Park, an arrest has been made in connection to a drug-related death at last year’s event.
While a majority of those arrested were given summonses or charged with misdemeanors, 10 have been tagged with felony offenses, primarily for selling drugs to undercover cops.
