Electric Daisy Carnival
A 24-year-old man who died at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas died of an Ecstasy overdose, authorities say.
After the tragic news over the weekend of a death at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, there are now reports of a second person losing their life at the annual EDM festival.
Insomniac reported that 134,000 people attended the first night of EDC, which is scheduled to run for the rest of the weekend (June 21-22).
While Electric Daisy Carnival honcho Pasquale Rotella likes to refer to the hundreds of thousands of EDM fans who descend on Las Vegas for Electric Daisy Carnival as the fest’s headliners, the long and agonizing wait to learn who’ll be performing this year is finally over.
The star-studded event is set for Memorial Day weekend, and will boast appearances from a wide assortment of EDM favorites, including Krewella and Martin Garrix.
We premiere a scene from the movie and talk distribution with Insomniac Events’ Pasquale Rotella. Kaskade, who provides the score, also sounds off.
Originally launched in Los Angeles back in 1997, Electric Daisy Carnival has grown into America’s premier EDM destination festival.
