Interpol, Tame Impala, Florence + the Machine, the Weeknd, alt-J and Hozier are among other acts also performing at the festival, to be held in Indio, Calif. this April.
To the surprise of many, Jack White’s GRAMMY-nominated solo jam “Lazaretto” is based on a hip-hop classic.
It was then lost to time. Until now.
Jack White and Loretta Lynn are getting the old band back together. At least for one night.
Fertita is also a member of Queens of the Stone Age and currently plays in White’s solo touring band.
Fertita previously worked with White in The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs.
Jack White is a student of rock and roll, but he will get to play teacher when he heads to Yale University on Oct. 28.
