The obiquitous Pharrell may be “Happy” all over the place, but he’s not losing his edge.
For their new music video for “Magic,” Coldplay and co. become literal magicians as two lovers fight to be together.
The clip features a double-scoop of scantily-clad women slinging paint and fireworks at a late-night party fused with rapid-fire shots of the band.
With distinct ’80s beats, hand clapped rhythms and synchronized dance moves that bring to mind the girl groups of the ’50s, the sisters take it to the dance floor on their new single.
Coldplay surprised fans today with the unexpected release of a new track and accompanying video titled “Midnight,” presumably from their forthcoming album.
The song was co-written by country music stalwart Mac Davis, best known for ’70s hits like “Baby Don’t Get Hooked on Me” and “Stop and Smell the Roses.”
While the drawings within the video were sketched by six-year-old Markus Jolly, the video itself includes clips from the film which help bring the song to life.
